Coastal Resources, Inc. (CRI) is a certified woman-owned small business with over 25 years of experience working with a wide variety of natural resources management issues. Our staff has significant experience and extensive training and includes biologists, environmental scientists, hydrologists, wildlife biologists, environmental specialists, environmental engineers and landscape architects with training in the latest federal, state and local regulations and assessment methodologies.
- Research - CRI has extensive skill researching existing information and conducting field investigations for a broad range of natural resources including soils, wetlands, streams, water quality, forests, wildlife, habitats and rare, threatened and endangered species.
- Identify - CRI is experienced in identifying a wide variety of native and non-native plant and animal species and assessing the diversity and wildlife habitat potential of vegetative communities.
- Map & Catalog - CRI’s mapping and cataloging of existing environmental conditions are a large part of the firm's work.
- Document - Documentation is an important requirement under environmental regulations and statutes. CRI’s team has a broad range of experience writing NEPA documents, permits, impact analyses and statements, and other environmental documents.
- Educate - CRI supports numerous public agencies and private individuals by providing them with the comprehensive view of natural resources and sensitive areas required to fully understand and address the environmental issues within their study area. This is achieved by collecting and reviewing environmental data, followed by clearly presenting gathered information in both narrative and visual forms.
