Highlights of Experience

Emily is an Environmental Scientist assisting in electrofishing surveys, wetland delineations, plant surveys, data management, and macroinvertebrate sample processing. She assists senior scientific personnel in conducting a variety of field studies and environmental assessments for the public and private sector. Highlights of Emily’s experience include:

Field Studies

Assists senior scientists in performing a wide variety of field studies including:

  • conducts wetland delineations, forest stand delineations
  • collects benthic macroinvertebrates, fish, water quality, and aquatic habitat data
  • performs data entry and analysis
  • uses GPS and GIS technologies to support technical field work and reporting, including preparation of resource mapping
Document Preparation
  • compiles and researches environmental data for technical reports, Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments and Natural Environmental Inventories
  • utilizes GIS programs to support environmental assessments, inventories, and impact analyses
  • performs functional assessments using EPW and NE methodologies in order to estimate functional capacity of wetlands residing within project boundaries
  • assists in preparing technical documents including wetland delineation reports and forest stand delineation reports
