We are currently seeking a full-time Entry-level Environmental Scientist with a Bachelors (minimum) or Masters degree in applied sciences such as ecology, botany, environmental science, landscape architecture, or natural resource management. Related work experience preferred but not required. Preference for candidates with demonstrable experience or course work in wetland delineation and ecology, forest ecosystems and native vegetation, NEPA and other environmental regulations, GIS, and/or soil science. Position requires rigorous field work in all weather conditions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of teamwork in a fast-paced and fun work environment. Minimum Requirements: B.S. in Environmental Science or related field, with pertinent course work in applied sciences such as ecology, botany, and natural resource management/regulations. M.S. a plus. Basic background in GIS applications through coursework or applied experience required. GIS proficiency a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applied field experience in wetland delineation, vegetation/forest surveys, or other natural resource disciplines preferred. Candidates must live locally.
