Highlights of Experience

Matt has a wide variety of field assessments and natural resource inventory experience, in support of technical studies and reports including wetland delineations, fish surveys, GPS survey of wetland boundaries, trees, and stream features, and other field inventories as needed to support development projects. He works on the preparation of stream and wetland restoration plans and specifications and is experienced using AutoCAD, Microstation, Microsoft Office, GIS ArcMap and GIS Hydro. He performs physical stream assessments, assisting with stream restorations, and evaluating stormwater management (SWM) systems and BMPs. He also works as an environmental inspector for construction projects and stream restoration. Highlights of Matt’s experience include:

Field Studies

Conducts a wide variety of environmental investigations including:

  • stream restoration site searches
  • physical stream assessments
  • evaluating drainage patterns associated with stormwater management facilities
Document Preparation
  • assists with development and production of plan sets using AutoCAD/Microstation
  • utilizes GIS for assessment and analysis of environmental datasets and map production
  • assists with the preparation and formatting technical reports
Environmental Construction Inspection
  • inspects grading operations, erosion and sediment control measures for water quality and pollutant control, and completes daily inspection reports
  • works with contractors and construction crews to follow design plans and ensure environmental integrity
