Bohemia River State Park Living Shoreline Ribbon Cutting

CRI was proud to attend the ribbon cutting for the Bohemia River State Park Living Shoreline Project, designed by CRI and constructed by Unity Landscape Design/Build Inc. The project involved shoreline stabilization and invasive species management. The stone sills were designed with sea level rise projections and planted with native grasses. Toe log structures were designed to protect the bank from erosion. The project was a partnership with Bohemia River State Park (Maryland Park Service) and Cecil County Department of Public Works and was funded by DNR’s Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund.
