Coastal Resources, Inc. scientists regularly develop and execute water resource assessment and analysis strategies to comprehensively evaluate estuarine resource conditions. CRI has expertise in a wide range of estuarine science disciplines, from fisheries, to submerged aquatic vegetation, water quality, and beyond. In tidal waters, CRI staff are experienced in field sampling, processing, identification (to species), and data analysis of benthic macroinvertebrates in accordance with protocols to calculate the Chesapeake Bay Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (B-IBI). We also own and operate a survey vessel appropriate for work in tidal rivers and the Chesapeake Bay and have relationships with marine services firms for larger survey vessel needs.
