We are currently seeking a full-time Entry to Mid-level Aquatic Biologist to support our water quality group with 1-5 years experience. Candidates should meet the following requirements: Requirements: B.S. in Environmental Science or related field, with pertinent course work in applied sciences such as biology, ecology, environmental science, or natural resource management. M.S. a plus 1-5 years of applied experience in rapid bioassessment protocols, aquatic ecology, fisheries, benthic macroinvertebrates, data analysis, and technical report preparation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with MBSS benthic macroinvertebrate and fish sampling methods preferred Experience identifying fish and/or benthic macroinvertebrates a plus Experience operating and trailering small boats (<25’) preferred Experience or course work with aquatic entomology, stream morphology/assessment, wetland delineation, native vegetation/botany a plus Basic background in GIS applications through coursework or applied experience is preferred Salary Range: $53,000-70,000/year. CRI is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of salary range for this role. This range is determined by many factors including but not limited to experience, training, skill sets, interpersonal skills, internal salary equity, licensure and certifications, and other organizational needs. CRI will evaluate the specific skills and qualities of an individual candidate to determine the appropriate salary for that specific hire.
